The video ‘plastification’ is a critical statement about the ‘boomerang’ effect that plastic has on us.
Plastic is everywhere. Not only is it polluting our oceans but there are also microplastics (tiny pieces of plastic) in our food and cosmetics which is polluting our body. This is something people are not aware of. With the video as a chosen medium I wanted to warm not only the citizens but also political parties. Because of the broad audience I went for a video with a touch of humour and oddity to grab the viewers attention and make the invisable microplastics visable.
